FreeMind
I like sharing with others. Nothing is worse than having heard a good joke, but you have no one to tell it to. Giving back to life is an important dimension to life. Even the work place knows the importance of sharing ideas, information etc. I’m always cautious about a sales pitch that begins with “Let me tell you the secrets…….” Most often you never hear anyone of the secrets unless you click to the next page and pay a price to hear the secrets. Recently I landed on a website that promoted some great secret about health, but of course to get that secret I had to subscribe and pay a fee for it. Well, that’s not what this is about.
FreeMind is an OpenSource software that is about Mind Mapping. Of course you can do this on paper with pencil, but for this age the computer generated program gives us a way of recording our outlines, lists, project proposals etc. on the keyboard that can be saved and presented. As Steven Covey was known for saying, “Begin with the end in mind.” This software, free of course, gives you a way to map and record on the computer. I’m finding it something that meets a visual format that is best for me. Try it out. Ask my favorite secretary: ”Miss Google”. She will give you all more information that you’ll need, as she always does.
If Miss Google is busy here is the link: Click here for FreeMind download.
